About Marcel Schneider

Marcel Schneider decided after his successful Amateur Career to turn Professional end of 2012.
Since 2007 he won multiple national and international titles, the Australian Amateur Championship 2012, finishing 6th place in the Amateur Golf Ranking and receiving the Bronze Medal at the Team World Championship in Turkey.

In his first year as a pro (2013) he was able to play in the top 15 of the Pro Golf Tour. In 2014 he won two tournaments, the Open Mogador and the Open Madaef and secured the overall victory of the Pro Golf Tour. Since 2015, Marcel plays on the European Challenge Tour. In addition, he played in the 2015 season in 6 of 8 Cuts on the European Tour.

In 2016 he won the PGA German Championship at the Golfclub St.Leon-Rot.

In 2017, Marcel Schneider secured the coveted 25th place in a dramatic finale in the third round of the European Tour qualifying school at Lumine Golf and Beach Club near Tarragona. And thus the earned eligibility for the European Tour 2018.

2018 Marcel Schneider won his first Challenge Tour event in Switzerland (Sempachersee)
